I don't normally feed wildlife,we have a water monitor that comes up from the river and feeds on insects on the front lawn.This morning it came up to the front patio door looking for food. So I relented and gave it some mince meat,but the magpie didn't want to be left out.

This is a favourite spot we love to camp at ,dedicated to 2 firefighters who were killed in Feb.2013. fighting fires when a tree fell and crushed their vehicle. We were there in Jan this year just after the devastating fires in NE Victoria,and the firefighters came down for a well earned get together.
