Safe, overnight stay near or south of Gilgandra
(Preview)
I hope to make a dash to QLD from south NSW in a week or two depending on the COVID-19 restrictions. I'll need to stopover somewhere near or south of Gilgandra. I want to minimise the potential contact with SARS-CoV2 so I'd like to stop somewhere safe but without any interaction with other people. Doe...

I went to book a site at a Reflections CP the other day on the East coast of NSW. Have stayed there in the past so I knew what site I wanted , so I asked for that particular site and was told if I pick my own site it's an extra $5 . I was shocked , I didn't ask whether that was a night or one off. She said to me fortunate...

Friendly advice. Yesterday I was towing a 3 tonne van, wet road at about 90kph. Two kangaroos jumped straight out from the bushes in front of me. Emergency braking applied, unfortunately couldn't avoid hitting the second roo. I had an aluminium bullbat on the Jeep. The roo died instantly. The only...

There's a pic of the camper set up in here. As you'll see in the Piliga pic it's a big annex. It's held on by a good quality zip and...
