Can 4 Season Vents be put onto Caravan PopTop roof?

Were considering putting a 4 season vent onto our Paramount Poptop van, has anyone done this? Is the roof solid enough to cut into and fit the 4 season vent, or is it likely to dip which would I turn cause water leaks? be kind, were Newbys and first time posting cheers
