Last days of School Holiday. Weather down south appears to have broken. No real reason to go north till now. In fact more reasons not to go north. We started planning our June 1 departure last week. I know many Grey Nomads who head north first day of 2nd school term or first week of May.

Hi looking at doing the silo art trail in Victoria wondering if any one done and where can stay along the way , at Rupanyup found Jack Emmett billabong can stop at, anything else along route ,rest areas , free camps , paid anything thanks John

We plan to travel from Broome to Katherine in a months time, and are a bit worried about safe places to stop. We think we should be able to find somewhere in Kunnanura, but are not sure about anywhere else. Hope someone can suggest a few places. Thanks

Hi all I'm heading to the Cape in June and will be staying in Mareeba for a couple of weeks first. My question is - which is the best way up to Mareeba from the coast? Is it an easier drive up from Innisfail or is it better to travel up through Cairns and Kuranda? Thanks Hendo

Received my caravan insurance renewal today in the mail. Mine has gone up 10% again this year. Called the insurer and negotiated a 3% increase but had to cop a rise in excess from $300 to $600. Still thinking about whether to cop that. Anybody else getting slugged big insurance increases. Aart

I have a new Samsung t585 tablet and since logging into the Grey Nomads forum website the small ticks on the left hand side of the screen are not there just little square boxes. Does anyone know how to rectify the setting? Advice appreciated. Chris
