my dad is copping a lot of flack (aged 86) or what ever from the family, i can understand where there coming from in his safety, i think he just wants to enjoy his last few years, last few were crap when mum died from Alzheimers and dementia , are we nuts for motor homing? what did your family say?

The MH arrives in about (2) weeks and then I can fit it out out how I want it .. no grass will grow under my feet...

G'day, I was wondering for those experienced travelers, when traveling and need to stay over night , have you ever pulled up to a place but looked around and found it was dodgy or unsafe? I like some towns might have places that have trouble late at night or something like that, just as an example..

Just got back from the Wauchope caravan show. Really enjoyed the day but now Im all fired up about 5th wheelers. Anyone got one and how do you like it. Hubby"s happy because he finally bought his rooftop boatloader. Now we cant wait to load it all up and head out to the dam. Just need the weather...

Anyone know what the road is like from Winton to Richmond so I can connect to the Flinders Hwy to go onto Townsville On the maps it shows as a development road so just how developed is it . Is there an alternative route that anyone would recommended towing a standard sealed road van

Driving back from the Sunshine coast I noticed a lot of names on the back of Vans,motor homes etc.One in particular took my fancy.("No fixed abode your honour"),another was "Goodbye cruel World we are doing the circuit".There were quite a few more that I cant recall just now....
