We are leaving here tomorrow on our way north. Spent a week here at Avoka Farm Stay & it's been a great spot. Such friendly people. Even let me win when playing cards. Lots of animals to see & feed. If you're coming this way I can recommend it.

The midgies are a minor pest, but the old aerogard keeps them at bay for a whileC/Park 50 meteres from the waters edge, with views out to Thevenard and the gas/oil rigs. Impressive flares at night.. Have spent most of the time free camping...
