Howdy

Hi All!

Brad and Ashlee here!

We just bought our van a 1990 Evernew. Has been a great van for others, now our turn to make our kids memories in it.

We have 3 girls 6,3 & 4 months. Looking to make new experiences and those childhood memories for our kids, that we got when we were little.

The caravan has seen a few things and we are in the process of making it our, repainting the inside and new appliances ect, so its been a good little project that i can spend sometime in to unwind and even better when we get away and have a beer or a wine and feel good about the place we are at but also the van that we have worked on.

Nice to meet you all and look forward to the tips and tricks and knowledge in here

G'day Brad, Ashlee and family and let me be the firt to welcome you to the forum.  Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit.  Hope your van and RV life live up to your expectations.

Pete & Marion

Welcome to the gang Brad and Ashlee, enjoy here and out in the playground.

You will meet other young families doing the same as you are about to do, all enjoying what the playground has to offer. I have met a few young families in my travells and find the kids well behaved and are learning heaps, a lot more than they would at school.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Hello dyso and family. Welcome to the playground. A caravan project is a great idea. Washing machine is a must havE.We have a lemair xqb32 washing machine. It weighs 12 kilos n can b lifted in n out of car , auto, n set up outside with steel chain from bunnings. it can wash 1 singlet cotton blanket. With 5 of u would take ages to wash as it is 3.2 kilos wash i think. But better than hand washIng. Have seen families with a small twin tub that u can buy from camping places. This worked well for them but u need one that can at least wash a queen size sheet is best. Otherwise spend a fortune every time u wash bedding. enjoy.
