Hi any ideas on any other tie ideas, the springs are very hard to work?  Regards Peter

Hi Peter. Try posting this in the 'Techies Corner' section. Someone might be able to help you.

Peter if they are not the toggle type, replace them with adjustable toggle clips cheap as chips on line www.protex.com/

Hope it is not too late for me to say, welcome to the forum, petshirl

I agree with Peter (Possum3), adjustable toggles are the way to go

I did find on my pop top caravan, if the canvas had folded up on itself, I could not pull the spring loaded clips into their slot
