Hi GypsyLynda, Ive just got back from a little (3 week) trip to Tassie.

Absolutely loved the place.

Have you been before or will this be your first trip there?

I hope youve had a chance to check bookings on the Spirit as a few people were telling me how busy it can get around that time of year.

At this stage I dont think Ill be there around Christmas as I have family commitments here but I met a few people travelling solo who are staying for 6 to 12 months so hopefully youll meet up with some along the road.

Cheers,

Jewel

Lake McKenzie, near Tulla - not far from Cradle Mountain - nice spot, can camp right at the lake, or at the gravel pit nearby. Drive in and go over dam wall.
