Another newbie!

Hi everyone,

My husband and I are relatively new to caravanning and had a tricky start by purchasing a second hand Jayco Penguin and a Prado only to upgrade to a Jayco Swan and then to upgrade again to a Starcraft 18" foot touring van within a year! Crazy I know but once the weather got colder I realised how much I would enjoy an indoor toilet and shower!  So we love our caravan and are just waiting on our Landcruiser 200 series to arrive and then we will start with some 2-3 week trips to get to know all the tricks before we lease out the house and head off around the country in about a year.

We have our trusty companion Poppy the English ****er Spaniel who is almost a year old and she came on her first camping trip within her first week of coming to live with us as a puppy so she now loves it too!

Thank you for adding us to the group and we look forward to sharing some knowledge (but for now I think it will be more one way for a while)

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy your tripping around, there's lots to see and do. I agree about the indoor toilet - once you have one wouldn't be without it - beats going for a walk on a cold, windy/wet, dark night. Cheers.

Welcome to the gang TheWebbs, enjoy here and out in the playground.

I agree about the shower and toilet too. I use mine all the time, I hate public toots, I'm a bit fussy in that department.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

G'day TheWebbs and welcome to the forum.  Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit.
