I have posted before so thought I should do the intro. Had my first solo camp at Queens Beach Tourist park in Bowen. I did have a couple of trial runs with the family to make sure I could set up on my own. This park is beautiful and filling up with inter state travelers, the ones I met have been going there for years. Every one was so friendly. I'm busy planning my next adventure

I'm just back from the UK so welcome to the forum Lone Star.  Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit.
