HORIZONTAL FALLS

You have heard of the horizontal falls, well Greens Lake have a new tourist attraction.

The 'HORIZONTAL RAIN'

Yep, wind is that strong the rain is falling horizontal.

Surf Boards would be handy too.

Hope that you can keep dry out there Doug, and are not parked under any large branches, just in case

It's more the wind Tony. It's some of the worst experienced here. The thing I don't like the most is my awning is rolled up and I am missing out on all that nice clean water for my tanks. The mud is really bad too. Bugga.

Always look on the bright side Doug, your Braves will have an easy job, if they have to track anyone through that mud

Hope the wind drops for you, and that you can grab some of that water

Edit to say
Just a thought Doug, (so I could be wrong)
If the rain run-off is enough on one part of the Caravan, to fill a bucket/pan/bowl, which could be secured to the ground, you may still get some water, in between the heavy wind squalls, without risking pulling your annex out

Went to Swan Hill on Friday and used a half tank of diesel due to the head winf and a quarter tank on the way home tuesday, great tailwind.
Just got the van away and it bucketed down

Hi Judy,

Sorry, I just saw your question. Naughty naughty, you have not read my hard work in my September update in the new 'blog section' have you winkbiggrin

Yes I am and weather has been very rough and wet but all good so far. A few happy campers around but not many.

As we speak the wind has picked up real bad and very quickly but should be ok again by tonight so the weather gods say.
