Anzac Weekend question

from the experience of fellow nomads who love Greens... Does the cooler weather restrict the numbers of 'louts' at Greens over the Anzac Day long weekend? Or, does it just drive them around the fire with loud 'Doof Doof' music?

The latter Mike.

If the weather is good the place will be packed as will most popular places. Even if the weather is not good they will be there by the dozens I would say. Maybe start there and if too bad head to Girgarre or even Aysons Reserve maybe.

Ear plugs are good at night in those cases.

Thanks Doug. That is what I though might be the case. The problem will be shifting the kids who will be in a family tent. We might need to re-think the destination.

We decided to risk it... Great spot but the wind is not being very friendly...

hey revemkike, I have lived in the area a long time and I don't think greens is any worse than any other popular camp site. Wind is always increasing this time of the year. Autumn and winter has strong winds from the south and brings the rain. No such luck so far this year with rain! How long you staying for? God bless froggos

We are only here until Monday. Don't get me wrong, I love Greens. it is not filled to capacity by any means this weekend. There are however a LOT of vans and tents though. We have a group of teenagers about 500 meters away from us and they are having a good time.... Might have a bit of fun trying to get to sleep tonight me thinks....

I will put my music on and try and cover their 'enjoyment'.
