Gday...

Ya hit the jackpot Granddadbarney

There is neither time limit nor cost for luxuriating at Greens

However, recent information seems to indicate that if you attend the Corop General Store, they will welcome, not only your patronage, but a donation for 'facilities' at Greens.

Hope the weather is somewhere near tolerable in June. hmm

Cheers - and welcome - John

'twill be cold at Greens, but a fire will fix that. Make sure you get fish and chips from Corop store, and say hello from us - lovely people there.

I stayed there one night in July a couple of years ago. Never again. I got every type of weather thrown at me that night. Heavy rain, thunderstorm, freezing cold, strong winds.
I'm sure everything but an earthquake.

Arrived at Greens today. What a great spot. Weather perfect 20deg, sunny and no wind. Intended to stop one night, that has now turned into 2 nights now.

Is Dave (Glenelg) still down by the ramp ?

He is trying to turn the lake Red so it can be re-named the red lake.

Dave,
Every comment by you sees you still standing there holding a glass of red. Are you ever going to drink it.
Or are you just keeping it warm.
Hope to share a glass with you if you are still there later in the year.
We are heading to Shepparton so Greens is close by.
Have a red on us.
Jay&Dee

Dave's water tanks under his van are full of red wine and he carries a ten ltr container of water for his coffee biggrin

He also has a little business going. He makes a nice coffee and has tables and seats set up outside his van, $2.97 per cup and for 3c extra you can get a monkey face biscuit.

Edit...Forgot to say that solo people flying light planes get a free cup and 2 MFB's.
