Well Roxy and I attended the Retired Police day at our local Police Area Command. Whereupon I was awarded the National Police medal for service so was very proud. The funny thing about the day was the Superintendent is a lot younger than me and was my Sergeant at one point in my career but I reckon I look younger LOL.

You are a funny man Dougwe, but just the same both C2 and I where very pleased with the award no less. Thanks to everyone for there kind words but those that are still in the job not only Police but Ambo's, fireys hospital staff and our frontline serving troops are the ones we should be thanking. I have done my time and have good memories and some bad but yes we are looking forward to the second part of our lives/
Congratulations Gary. Must be something about cops lol, a mate of mine also bought a Royal Flair.
He retired some time ago from St Marys unit - you may know of him as Hank Vandewarden
cheers
Terry
Bloody ripper, Garry. A special moment indeed. I'll check it out when I see you on the road. If I've got dentures by then, I'll bite it just to make sure it's not counterfeit.
Congratulations and thank you for your service. We couldn't live without people like you.
I also want to thank you for your service. I am sure there were times when it was not nice when you had to deal the dregs of society. Now you and the Mrs can enjoy your travels around Australia.

Cheers Everyone, I did no more than any one in any of the emergency services. We should also thank those that are serving overseas with our armed services as I think they have there work cut out for them.
