You probably deserve hell for that post...... Something about being a sh* t stirrer? And besides, I need my undies, far more useful on me than a tree

I have a theory.

Trees like amentum-arborus (thong tree) and the much more sinister NuNNDY arborus (grundy tree),  transmit calming waves of mental energy. The evidence I have for this is the current grouping of GN's at Greens and their obvious relaxed mental state.

I have heard that the almost trance like state induced by these trees is similar to that induced by various medications from other cultures to gain enlightenment. Symptoms amongst the affected are ;

1. The days just melding into each other (eg calling days Sunday 1 Sunday 2 Sunday 3 etc)
2. Consumption of social lubricants around radiant thermal transmission zones in low light situations.
3. Discussions of modifications and rejuvenation of excretement containment devices taking place amongst otherwise serious persons
4. Homage to the gods of travel
5. Discussion on costs of sacrifices made to the gods of travel.
6. Discussion on what has happened to some, when the gods of travel get angry through lack of sacrificial homage.

As with all things good, there has to be a negative side. I believe the thought police have started making Alfoil hats for campers to wear (when parked near amentum-arborus or NuNNDY arborus). This is to reduce and minimise the obviously anti social effects of these trees . To pay for these social modification devices there will be fees charged for all campsites in Australia. Persons not wearing their alfoil hats will charged double for camping. They are obviously cheating the system and enjoying themselves.

Ohhhh, I can see myself getting into trouble here. I am not too sure about the tree just having undies on, I think we should dress the poor thing more appropriately. However as today is Sunday and the shops are closed for the day of rest, it may have to happen at a later date. I am sure there would be somebody far more fashion aware than I that would be able to dress the tree with more aplomb . Now that is a big word for the day of rest.
All in good fun and that is the level of entertainment and mirth that comes from a group of nutters sit around contemplating life on a Sunday afternoon.

I would suggest something typically Australian to call the tree... and confuse the hell outta OS backpackers... the Reg Grundy Tree.

I just may head up there by the end of the week. Those trees have a magnetic effect that overcomes my inertia from boredom at home.
