Hi Everyone, We are relatively new, since Easter this year, to this GN lifestyle.  Retired in Feb, bought a Winjana 5th Wheeler which we pull with a new Isuzu DMax and are currently having fun with short trips away getting the hang of caravanning in general! (First time caravanners!)

We have three little Lhasa Apso 'fur kids' which we still show, so the majority of our trips so far are to away dogshows around Qld, so far as far north as Rocky & west to Wondai!

We have been reading the forum avidly and so far have gained much valuable information from all for which I thank you all.

We will put a piccie up on 'Show us your Rig ' soon.

Peter & Jan

Hi all, Me...that's me, Kev, and the dragon...that's the wife, are planning becoming
grey nomads next year. Not a lot of money in the kitty (never be your own boss) so we decided to built our own camper/motorhome. We have a twincab Mitsubishi Canter and have built a rather compfy slide-on for it. We put in a nice kitchen, small bathroom and we are very pleased with the finished product. The dragon has been researching the net for the past two years making sure we didn't waste money on sub standard products like fridges, aircon etc. The last item we need to purchase is a solar panel to charge up the N200 12v battery that runs the 131lt fridge freezer. We can use the genni to recharge but want to have a solar set up as well. So looking forward to meeting up on the road next year.
Cheers
