And only 15 years out of date.

Be nice. He could join that forum, ask the same question, contact owners to see what their 15 years of experience has revealed.

No.

I'm done with FIs - all they do is complicate the lives of others. They serve no useful purpose at all.

>Wow. Im speechless.

Clearly you are not. So why say so?

>No wonder people are staying away from this forum with comments like that.

People are staying away from this forum because of the owners refusal to permit *any* political discussion - pay attention.

>Sad really.

That's a woke comment to indicate what a loving, caring individual you are.

Sad really.

I had a couple of my posts canned recently because I strayed from the no politics rule. I am of the opinion that, were this to be relaxed, we would certainly have more robust debates that would liven up the forum, however I can appreciate Admins point of view in that it would create a lot more work for them putting out the spot fires that would surely occur as a result.

Unfortunately expressing political views can often result in personal attacks as I, and others on here, have experienced elsewhere. Once this happens the point of the original post is lost.

From what I'm reading here you don't need political posts to get personal attacks.blankstareblankstare

The Aluminium Tent is now 12 years old and showing signs of small replacement of items or repair so spending time arranging that or trying to do myself. A ladder is needed for some jobs, but I can't use them these days due to health. It's hard asking for help when I am so used to doing things myself all my life. Still, slowly getting things done one way or another.

I know about how the mind goes on strike now and then as Uncle Al has definitely moved in this end. I still try very hard to get up before him of a morning though. Most times successfully but miss the odd time now and then. He can be a bugga when he wants.
