I am an old dinosaur, bought another actual physical diary, the same as decades past! A Collins 381 week to view, last year was $14, this year $17.
I suppose it is better than memory, a bit over $300 for two TB a few years ago, now about $800 for two TB of flash memory. Have been busy deleting the endless lists of crap data storage!
Swings & roundabouts!
In the long run, actual.cleaning up saves on many levels!

Way way back i spent $800 on a 80mb, yes 80mb hard disk drive. Spent around the same for 2 sticks of 1mb ram modules. But I can't call that inflation now.
In the late 1990s bought a Mac 7200. It came with 16MB ram. Bought four 64MB cards at $600 each, so 272MB ram in total, everyone was envious at the time. The computer had a two GB hard drive & bought a second two GB hard drive. Video memory was two MB.
Current (4 year old) Mac has 32 GB of ram (bought that as everything is soldered in), but still mostly using my 2009 Mac which has 4 GB of ram, it came with 2 GB, as it has all the software I am familiar with.
Dreading the day it dies! The "new" Mac, had to buy it due to some software wouldn't run on the old Mac.
