As above ... Went to pack up and there is zero spring tension , was windy for a few days, eventually managed to wind in manually , , unit is 10 years old , any wise ideas on cause and a fix , thanx Bazz
Happened to mine, the end caps have the torsion spring crimped onto the end cap shafts, the spring on mine unwound, I recrimped it in a vice with 2 hardened dowel pins
Look up a website for an exploded view of the mechanism,
