Finding many stockists are short on various Dometic and other manufacturers parts, incl window blades, Thetford stove parts etc. I ordered a part from the USA and received it at my door in 2 days. 1/2 the price in Aus, incl the exchange rate and shipping.
not uncommon for overseas parts suppliers to be cheaper. I landed a slide out controller from USA for A$800. The local Adria guy wanted A$1700 for the same part. cheers,
