Tyre Clearance from Wheel Arch

Is there a standard suggested clearance from the tyre top to the wheel arch in a caravan ?

Simple answer. Nope.

Enough that the tyre can not EVER touch the wheel arch even with a maximum deflection of the suspension because if it does it can cause an enormous amount of damage including ripping out the wheel arch, destroying the tyre and risking total loss of control of the van and tug.
Every suspension will be different. There is no one single answer.
Cheers,
Peter

Welcome to the Forum Bertie.

Simply put the closer to the wheel arch increases the likely hood of very expensive damage.
