Rural prop free stay

I was wondering if there was a notice board where property owners could list their property, for free stays, for certain periods, while they themselves were travelling? Basically, free for security of the property, type stays...?

Their is on here, their is a notice board where you can advertise for free about that. I just can't remember where it is. Flick a message to Cindy, our ADMIN, she will help you. Also, if you want to reach a large audience you can pay for ad's in the Land Magazine, or Queensland Country life. - doesn't matter what state you are in.

There are a stack of them on this site.

I thought of the Land newspaper as well.
Bicyclecamper was on the money with the above suggestion.

A good place to start would be looking into a site called "aussiehousesitters", I have been using them for about 12 years to pick up farm sitting gigs, owners can advertise for free and you can get a good idea about the people who reply to you.

The CMCA has members who are happy to let other self-contained members stay on their property for free. Not exactly the same thing, but it's an option. I've not tried to use it myself just yet.

Be very careful that your public liability insurance protects you.
If someone falls over and injures themselves on your property, or worse, you would be liable.
Cheers,
Peter
