Van Insurance

I just put a deposit on a 2020 Jayco Journey Outback which I will pick up on the 18th of December.

Now I just rang Suncorp cause I already have 3 x insurances with them but they quoted me an extraordinary price of $1500 with $600 excess! Jayco direct gave me a quote of $900 for a van of $35000!

So what you nice guys would you recommend please!

Thank you in advance

I insure mine with NRMA (($900 for 70K, $200 excess), Perhaps you should shop around a bit.

I am with NRMA. Similar premium and excess as Possum. Also have car and van with the maxi roadside cover with them as well.

Thank you for your response.
I will give NRMA a call next week to get a quote.

Give 4 X 4 a call.

They have lots of inclusions like off road recovery, personal effects and some other provisions
Computers I think) that isn't common to most and best of
all, you can elect up to 6 monts layup where the premium is minimum.

Also Jayco have layup provisions. Can't speak for costs since it is a while since
I got a quote from them.

We had the OKA insured through Club 4x4 for 1 year, but I did not like some of the fine print so abandoned them.
As with ALL insurers, read the fine print very carefully.
Cheers,
Peter

Mine's $1,238 for 101,000 sum insured.  2018 Retreat Fraser insured with RAC (WA) with no excess.
