Wow Kamala gets a reality check

Many of us hoped for yesterday's result, and if you believed the mainstream media and pollsters the orange man didn't stand a chance, oh were they wrong the party of the donkey were handed their asses on a platter.

The elephant party became the elephant in the room with DJT squashing them, it looks like the Republicans have won everything the presidency, the popular vote, the electoral college, majority in the senate, and possibly also in the house.

After the result was clear I channel surfed some of the mainstream tv shows, well CNBC, CNN etc the theme was the same K didn't get the job because of Racism, misogyny and a host other BS. Let's be real it was because the pants suit was empty, word salads with no policies.

I don't know (or care) about Kamala, I don't know (or care)about Trump, but there are 2 things I do know no 1 if Australians were as invested in our own political environment as they seem to be about the USA We would be better off and no2 I can't see this thread lasting the day, aren't political threads against the rules ?

Yep, you are probably correct, this thread is likely to have a short survival time.
What has perplexed me is that in a country of over 300 million people they cannot seem to find candidates that are "normal" people or not coming across as a false puppet?

Sadly though, I think the same applies here in Australia to a degree.
Our political makeup now appears to be more of a circus cast these days than a hall of political wisdom.

The word salads were a concern but we get to listen to a lot of those in recent history in our country as well.

Voting for Kamala was a they/them vote and people are sick and tired of preferred pronouns/wokism. After all the silly things Alma Fudd/Kevin Rudd/Kevin07 has said about Trump he'd better have his skates on.
