For those who have the misfortune to travel the Bruce Hwy, some good news as the Gympie By Pass - Gympie to Currra has opened, which means no traffic jams in Gympie and a 4 lane Hwy Curra to Brissie, only 1,500more Kms to do for a decent road to Cairns, should only take another 40 years.

I think you are being a little optimistic there Mal - 12th of Never is my estimation.
I was trying to be positive, certainly not in my lifetime, need to run the Curra to brissie section before they start with the 5 yrs road works projects again, been good lately to Brissie, no roadworks something unseen for probably a decade or so ............................... I rarely venture along the Major Hwys anyway, didn't like them when I got paid to so why when I'm relaxing................
