Opus campers

Evening all, Anyone travelling with, or know of people with an Opus camper? Just looking for all the pros and cons.

My daughter, hubby and 2 kids, 9 & 5 did 3 months away in theirs last year. Perth to Darwin (including gibb river road), down the middle and back to Perth over 3  months.

Only issue on trip was a failed cheap circuit breaker and a loose crimped connection fixed by a auto elec in Catherine on a Friday arvo!.

They had no issues with the inflation system and left the annex attached. They did that by using thinner cushions to give more room on fold down .

Initially they had issues with opus getting a proper fitting annex. Apparently a batch of miss made ones.

Other than that they loved it

They towed it with a 150 prado with a GVM upgrade

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response. Did they need to add additional water tanks?
