Hi all...just some info please, what's the road like from cobar to Burke? Is it in good condition and wide enough for 2 vehicles to pass each other.

Its a good 2 lane bitumen highway, more than wide enough.

It's one of the better highways in the outback.

Just watch out for goats.

We towed the van from Bourke to Cobar in 2022 because we had to go through to Bourke from Cunamulla to get across the border all the other roads further east out had been closed due to flooding. The road surface was excellent at that time compared to a lot of the others we had been on especially in Queensland, it was plenty wide enough,  if I remember correctly there was only one rest stop that had toilets.
