Hi jeepnudger,
Sounds pretty normal happening to me (Jayco Starcraft owner). The problem is with the cheap pressure reduction valve (a fat, 5-6 inch long brass unit) fitted to the mains pipe, inboard of the inlet. You will find it fixed to the floor underneath the van about a metre or so inboard from the inlet. It can have debris preventing the flow of water through it. Those PRV valves are historically problematic. You will find on this forum, and many other forums, many van owners asking your very same question. Responses are usually try to clean the spring loaded valve, replace the valve or just ignore the problem, as I do, and just use the water pump. Good luck.

I posted similar comment to BaldEd in the General thread.

Symptomatic of the vans Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) becoming stuck. Many van spare parts businesses sell them or hardware or plumbing supplies, but of course one needs to know which type etc. Or if you can remove the PRV and have the tools and strength, the PRV can be dismantled and lubricated. Or without any removal, hit the PRV with a hammer which may loosen its internal workings.
