Hello Everyone, So far I've been unable to find new cladding for sale for the exterior of caravans. The roof is a different profile. I'm trying to find a supplier that can supply both profiles. Does anyone know where to buy in Perth? I can't attach a picture of the profile using my mobile Grey Nomads app I will edit and add a pic later. Thank You

Tried that and the reply was intentionally difficult.
The exact words were, "well we need to keep our boys busy in the workshop".
Also contacted Probond for cladding based in Victoria a week ago, no reply as of yet.
Am thinking if I cannot find a supplier I will re clad in composite panels.
I don't need to do a refurb right at the moment but I want to see what options I have with the improves I have in mind.
EG: quality insulation, widening doorway, re-sheet roof for clean additions of vents / panels. There are a number of holes drilled in roof and outer walls but then heavily siliconed up by prev owners, these are
"potential leak points"
Anyway it's on going isn't it but enjoy the challenges too

Or just a composite skin?
I am using some composite skin in our new build OKA motorhome to replace steel skins in the cab and doors. It is 1.5mm thick.
Light and extremely durable. Simply glued into place with Sikaflex. The lower door skin and the panel behind the door are both composite with a gel coat finish.
Hi Peter, Thanks for the reply .. What is the name of that product? So it's alli and gel coated?
This would work and before skinning I would insulate my potential caravan refurb. I've made canopies out of alli sheets using the soudal bonding agent. It's basically sikaflex.
Cheers
PS That OKA looks like it will be mint when it's done.

It is gel coated fibreglass. 100 times more durable than aluminium.
I purchased it from Vanglass in Yandina, Queensland. www.vanglassrv.com.au/ Theirs is a premium product made by them. No doubt there are other cheaper sources, but I doubt there are better.
Cheers,
Peter
