Over 3 tonne 6.3M van behind GU Patrol no problems - like all mountain ranges, type of vehicle with enough grunt makes all roads possible. Y62 Patrol now, so it will chew it up.

As with all long steep hills it's a matter of keeping an eye on your cars temperatures. If an auto then am aftermarket transmission cooler and transmission temp gauge are good insurance. With all diesels an Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) gauge is in my belief, essential. I installed one about 8 years ago and with a slight adjustment to my driving style, I can keep the temps much lower - potentially saving major engine damage.

Several times up with a 3T van and 2017 Ranger Wildtrak, no problems.

Dick.
