Does the sound from your Van/RV TV speakers drive you crazy?

There's a fantastic solution - I have a Sphere 21" that speaks thru silver paper

with a sound more like a $2 kids toy. So bad in fact that I rigged it to run thru the

in-house radio - trouble was the sound was from behind and above and somewhat

disorienting relative to the picture.

Anyway I imposed on the bride to let me spend $160 on a SOUNDBAR.

https://englaon.com.au/products/englaon-12v-bluetooth-soundbar-for-caravan-tv-e-test?

Well to report - 2 minutes to plug and play - further 15 to take advantage of the comprehensive

accessory and mounting hardware to mount flush onto the bottom of the TV.

A very professional looking unit

And the sound? My caravan is a studio now filled with absolutely first-class sound at

whatever the volume!!

One purchase that far outweighs cost and convenience in performance and ease of install.

VERY HAPPY.

Turned up will certainly frighten the wildlife. But I'm selfish!

Plenty of small good quality speakers around you can use as well. And you can take them elsewhere to play music from.

My Englaon 32" tv has a very acceptable sound. No issues.

I have fitted separate speakers to all our TVs in the house and the camper. Just take the speakers from one of the many radio/ DVD players we seem to have around the place and wire them in place of the crap TV ones with a couple of plug connections. I can also locate the speakers closer to where we sit.
I guess i am too tight to buy an accessory that should not be needed to make the TV acceptable. But it does vastly improve the sound. The speakers do not need another power source either like most sound bars.

We use our portable Bose speaker, great sound quality and can position it anywhere, so the sound isnt too loud for those who maybe near us on a still night

The Engalon is only $160 or thereabouts - and plugs into 12v outlet.

Very convenient.

The Sphere TV is about the worst sound that I have ever encountered.

We have been using a set of computer USB speakers for a number of years, take up very little room and perform very well, best of all about $40.... tried using the aux port of the radio as speakers are very good but the power draw with TV and Foxtel running as well was more than I wanted to use ...
