Now I've heard everything!

This event was described to us by a long standing teacher friend, who teaches Primary school. I have no doubts as to it's authenticity.

A female 10yr old pupil arrives at school one day with a tail dangling from her waist and ears on her head. Thinking that this was a bit of fun the teacher, after everyone had a laugh, told her to take them off. I am a cat, says the 10yr old, "I can't take them off". She was then told that enough was enough and to take them off. Refused again. The headmaster was called and he got the same reply. After some discussion in the corridor, they decided to let the matter rest and get on with the lessons.

She then asked the teacher for a bowl of water accompanied by loud meows. She got the water and went down on hands and knees, (paws??) and commenced lapping the water. The teacher told the class to take out their lap tops and the "Cat" complied.

She was told to put her laptop away as cats can't use computers. This caused tears and the "Cat" ran out of the room carrying her mobile. Teacher tells the head what has occurred and they await developments, which are not long coming in the form of a very irate and loud Father, who accuses them of blatant discrimination and demands that they let his daughter use her lap top. Situation was sent to a tuibunal, and wonders upon wonders, they came down on the side of the school. Pupil taken out of school.

No, this is not a joke. Teacher swears that it is true.

It seems like a variation of this story:

I think it started with this...

"Woman identified as a cat demonstrates how absurd" (i won't type the rest) it comes up as a facebook vid and basically she is at a parents meeting and stands up in front of the school board to give them a practical and verbal lashing about gender identity, brilliantly worded and delivered.

The version I heard was a little boy in her class went home and told his dad he was really angry about the girl getting away with such rubbish.

His dad said when you go to school tomorrow give her a good belting. The little guy said, I can't do that because I will get into serious trouble by the school.

No you won't, just tell them you identify as a Rottweiler !
