Is it true that there are no more Lemair washing machine available? ours is 10 yr and was still going well until it died. If we cant repair it - what are suggestions to replace it ? It is in a cupboard so has to be same size.
We bought a Chinese machine off EBAY about 7 years ago similar to this one on the link. $80-$90, 4kg top loader with a spin basket, fine for 2 peoples smalls and jeans etc. larger items sheets we use machine in the park, fits in wardrobe, place it in the shower when needed and drop water down the waste pipe there. Good value
The on-line cheapies cannot effectively wash jeans, linen and towels, OK for travelling with kids when camping. They are not up to catering for full time Nomads.

We don't have room for washing machine. We do use a large bucket with sealed lid to soak things overnight. The sealed lid is great when on the move so water doesn't spash everywhere.
We also soak things overnight at home. Works really well & saves a lot of energy input, especially if washing by hand as in our case when travelling.
Also use a bit of detergent to make the water "wetter", but not too much for clothes with colour issues.

Sorry to say, but the cheap machine does in fact wash jeans etc. very satisfactorily may just take a little longer, easily handles socks and jocks and bath towels
Would not try and put sheets in always use the larger caravan park machines for those.
