Welcome to the Forum RainL.

There are 100's of Brands and models of caravans, campers, motorhomes, etc.

If you wish to know about them in general view www.caravancouncil.com.au/ where technical information is free to download.

If you want to open a debate about the best caravan that would be a real can of worms.

If you are curious to what "Nicknames" people call their mobile mansions - I for one don't.

Our current Tvan is just 'The Tvan'.

Our previous bus based motorhome remained nameless for a while, but other motorhomers who all had names for their vehicles applied pressure for us to name, so we came up with 'Anonybus (the bus with no name).  Within a short time this became shortened (by others) to 'Nonny', & it stuck for the next 12 years that we owned 'her'.

We came home from a long trip, and our younger son who had moved back for a spell had seconded our bed room.

We stayed in the van on the drive for a week while he removed himself to his new home, and so was born The Granny Flat that tours around now.

Our camper's name is Tilly, after our daughters dog, ( not really but it was the dog's name, but came already named and painted on the rear of the camper) so we left it like that.

Our Kedron was called Dunmowin - same name as our avatar for this forum.

Unfortunately, Dunmowin ran away to Darwin and has been repainted, so Dunmowin is now Dunmovin!

Double unfortunately, this photos makes it look like Dunmowin is lying down on the job.  Photo of new owners from Darwin - just taken possession.
