Legacy Relay

Hello, I am lucky enough to have been selected to participate the Fremantle leg of the Legacy relay, just wondering if anyone else is participating.

Congratulations GD on being selected to be a runner.  I see it commenced its journey in Pozieres in France and then headed to Belgium, onto London and then arrives, I think, in Albany in early May. It is going to be carried to about 50 towns and cities with more than 1500 people involved in the relay. I think it ends up in Melbourne in about 6 months time.

I haven't heard much about Legacy in recent years but my late mum was a member and volunteer on the north coast of NSW. They would always be raising money for the families of veterans and assisted with things like food, school uniforms and life's necessities for the families in need.

Enjoy your day and feel proud that you are doing your bit to celebrate such a worthy organisation and what they have achieved over the last 100 years.
