Recommended Site/Park near Braybrook Vic?

We're getting a small mod on our Campervan at Kea in Braybrook in a month or so.

It's a small job that can be done in a day.

So I was planning to drive down from Sydney day 1.

Rest Day 2. while the van gets worked on.

And drive back day 3 and 4.

Need to get back for work.........

So I was hoping to find a good overnight spot within a couple of hours North of Braybrook close to the Hume Highway.

That would at least give us a short run into Kea the next morning.

I found a couple of sites near Braybrook, but they get very dodgy reviews on Wikicamps.

Any recommendadtions?  Somewhere quiet.  Don't need power or water.......

Maybe stay out of town, up towards Euroa, Seymore, Kilmore kind of area?

Tips most appreciated.

If it's not too far for you Broadford is a pleasant spot for a night or two:

Wikicamps

Edit:

The is a large service station here which you could probably tuck yourself away in for 24 hours but it would be a last resort:

Big 4 at Coburg is ok, also Point Cook is good, but possibly a goood hour away, depend on time of day.

Thanks Mike and Craig. Both are options worth a look.

G'day Rob,

There is a BIG BP servo with Maccas and KFC etc south bound on the Hume Freeway in Wallen, South of Seymore. I have stayed out back of Maccas Drive through a couple of times to get an early start the next morning to beat the peak Melbourne traffic. It's not as noisy as it might sound. There is a big weighbridge out front too that you could check weights, if need be, as well. From there it's a short pass and quick try, to your destination.

On your way back you could stop of at Jugiong Show Ground just north of Gundagai. Then onto Sydney. I have stayed there many times and there is a donation box out front near toilet block.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.
