Both well worth the trip, but if you can't go off road Breakaways at sunset a good option

Best views are at Sunrise/Sunsets.

It was much more beautiful before they permitted mining at the Breakaways.

I stayed for sunset at the Breakaways but it was so cold and windy at the Painted Desert lookout that I quit and went back to camp but there wasn't much of a sunset that night because of total black clouds anyway. But hay you can't control the weather.

Right now I'm waiting to see how much of the Murray River floods will make it down Murray Bridge way, I'll drag my dinghy up in a couple of weeks and wait and see if we loose our access road, but we are high enough that our home is safe until floods reach 1956 levels which is highly unlikely.
