When are you travelling? Currently, the only way you will get through is via Dubbo. The Gulgong to Wellington and the Elong Elong to Maryvale roads are cut by flood waters. All those roads are normally good mostly two lane bitumen.

Keep an eye on Live traffic NSW site for up to date info.

As Peter said "a little wet at the moment" - It is one of our preferred trips at other times, as not so many trucks use it.

Thank you all. Yes I have been keeping an eye on the weather at the moment however I believe my itinerary from Brisbane via Oxley Hwy will have me traveling westward arriving Wellington Jan 03 en-route to Parkes (to catch up with Elvis before he leaves the building) Hopefully all flooding will have dried up by then and will only have to cope with heat and steam.
