HI,been a member since 2013, i usually watch and pickup some good ideas etc . I ceramic coated and paint correcTed my f250, it certainly made a difference, both visual and the dirt just hoses off. These are 2 photos, I did the Bull bar as well, these photos are about 11months after treatment.
Very nice result, I've had 2 vehicles done with the ceramic coating. The first one had the wheels and brake calipers done in addition to the bodywork. Was amazing to see the brake dust just wash off. A secondary bonus is it increases the abrasion resistance of the paintwork.

As we've traveled extensively over the past 12 years of retirement, when we see rigs with not even a speck of dust on them, we think of how much work it must entail trying to keep up appearances.
To us dust & mud are a ''badge of honor''.
Our 4x4 ute is washed every 6 months by the dealer when we get it serviced.
I have a secondhand van that has some "protection" (sticker on the van). When I saw the sticker, I looked up what it was for and found mostly positive feedback. The van does look nice. I can't know to what extent that is due to the product applied or whether the previous owners just looked after it well or garaged it or whatever. I'm usually cynical about these "extras" that may be unnecessary, but in light of the feedback I got I would look at it on a new and expensive purchase.
Yeah, thats what its really good at bird **** and sap etc protects the paint and a simple hose off. The bull bar surprised me, the ceramic keeps the shine for a long time. I might add, the 250 is 17years old now.

Ceramic coatings are not extra protection against stone chips or scratching. There are many brands to chose from but the most important thing is to chose a good applicator.
I had someone open their car door as I was driving past. The quarter panel, bonnet, A pilar, front door, mirror, rear door were damaged.
All the panels were dented but there were no scratches through the paint. The mirror was replaced.
I had carnauba wax on the car & their door skated over the surface leaving some of their paint in places but their paint came off. I was pretty impressed what the wax did.
The entire side of the car was straightened & resprayed & bonnet. One way one getting rid of stone chips, not that there were really any along the sides anyway. But the front has chips, mostly lower down, a few on the head lights.
A good number of these chips are more like sharp holes like someone has hit the surface with the point of a knife & twisted it. I personally can't see how ceramic coat will do anything.
Further more it's a car & if is gets stone chips, scratches from branches so be it. By the time I replace the car it will be worth nothing.
