Port Fairy from above

A collection of photos and video taken with the help of a drone showing the beautiful historic town of Port Fairy, Victoria.  A historic town with an early background of Irish settlement in the 1800's, in fact it was originally named "Little Dublin".  Original industry was whaling and potatoe farming.

Beautiful little town it is too, Jim. Looks even better from above! Thanks for photos.

It's been many a year since I've visited Port Fairy. Everything looks different from above. Thanks.

I was surprised how dark the water appeared from the drone footage as the drone pasted over the boat moorings in the river.
Thanks for the show.

Visited Port Fairy in March 2014 with our previous van, about a week before the town's Folk Festival. If we had arrived later, we would not have been able to get into the van park. Lovely little town.
