Rod suggests that the gooseneck comes through roof, but these photos suggest that perhaps the roof has been strengthened, maybe with solid roof pillars, although the roof itself does appear to be "dented". Cheers
If you look even closer you'll see that the gooseneck is actually connected to the drivers baseball cap.
