I am hoping to get some information about 2 roads:-
1. Hawker to Arkaroola and
2. Hawker to Blinman and on to Marree
I would like to know if the roads are sealed all the way. Also, any little tips about what to see along the way would be appreciated. I have previously been to Wilpena Pound so I am not intending to return to the Pound.
If you intend travelling anywhere in that area in the near future it might pay you to check with local police and road authorities as there has been extensive rain throughout those districts.
In fact it is a good idea to check conditions with authorities at any time as it may save you heartache and inconvenience if caught out.

Flinders is still mostly open, but keep an eye on it. Almost everything else is shut.
Moralana Scenic Drive, Brachina Gorge, Glass Gorge, Parachilna Gorge. All special places.
Cheers,
Peter
Thanks, Peter. If we park our van at Rawnsley Park and do day trips in the 4WD, any suggestions? I thought that we might spend 4 or 5 days there.
I would be more inclined to go up to Copley to do day trips. Copley is 130 km from Arkaroola whereas Rawnsley Park is 215 km and Google Maps indicates it is 1 hour less driving. There are a few things to see there as swell.

Yep, Arkaroola is too far for a day trip. Besides you could spend several days there and also explore the Gammon Ranges to the south.
There are a variety of tracks and some beautiful country. youtu.be/V212SJQ4mYY youtu.be/-L5SX6fxmlc

Things change quickly. Those gorges are all open today and the roads are in fine condition. Just back in the van after exploring them all.
