Whilst they say they are a lithium battery manufacturer it is sort of a half truth because all they are probably doing are buying the cells, BMS and cases from China putting them together with a label on.
The question is why were the cells venting? It is quiet possible that they were sold B grade cells or there was a failure in the BMS that allowed overcharging.
LifePO4 batteries are considered to be relatively safe and should not be considered in the same category as the lithium batteries u find bursting into flames in cars, scooters and battery packs etc.
