I believe it's currently open but things change quickly. Download the livetraffic app or visit the website, plan alternate routes and check constantly up the time you need to commit. More rain is ahead.

The only hiccup is the direct road from Gloucester to Bulahdelah is cut in a couple of places by land slips. The other roads towards Newcastle and the Great Lakes/Taree are still open.
