Freedom Annexe (Freedom Tents not Jayco Freedom caravan)

In the late 1980s we had a free standing Freedom annexe that attached to our Kombi (and later to our HiAce). It had an elasticated connecting sleeve between the annexe and campervan, but I can't remember how it would have attached to the campervan.

Did anyone have one of these? How did we attach it? Press studs? Did the connecting sleeve have a floor? If it did, how would this have worked with the external tent poles?

It was a great annexe but weighed a ton.

Thanks

The skirt had copper eyelets that went over a small toggle clip see; www.whitworths.com.au/sailing/sailmakers-accessories/eyelets-grommets

Didn't have one of those but Freedom tents were the best around at that time. Still got one in the shed. Hasn't been out for years, hope its still good.
