Last Friday morning a rock slide on the GAR,we have had lots of rain down in East Gippsland this year.

Quite large rocks too.

Some people will whinge about anything, won't they.

Any road carved out of a rocky mountainside with have rockfalls in wet weather.

It happens everywhere including the Great Ocean Road & the Princes Hwy in Far East Gippsland.

Hi Plain Truth. The road is open and there is no problem. A little road works where this sign is may slow you down a few minutes. Don't get too stressed. The rocks shown in the picture in the Bairnsdale Advertiser were cleared off the road within a few hours.
