The poor old pubs have been doing it tough during the pandemic and some publicans have spent the lockdown improving their venues.

I would like to hear of other peoples recommendations of towns with good pubs.

Here is mine

Imperial hotel Quirindi NSW Great food great range of beer lounge areas with tv huge dining area with kids entertainment 300 metres from a neat caravan park with above average facilities for $25 a night.

all the pubs round the country of south australia are great for meals .......york peninsula has some good ones ..........

Presently at Watheroo Station Tavern, buy a couple of beers and you get a free overnight parking spot AND HOT SHOWERS.

St Lawrence, QLD. 

 

We set up our caravan out the back with the Shetland Pony.

 

The interior of the pub is really worth perusing and the bar attendees were very friendly. We had lamb shanks for dinner, absolutely yummy.

I can't decide between the Milawa Hotel in Milawa and the Bridge Road Brewery in Beechworth, both N E VIC and both great menu's and average prices. The brewery has a great range of beers on tap too.


Enjoy, but keep safe on the roads and out there.
