I think that Aldi got done by the ACCC for doing that. I used that case to get some solar powered lights from the Reject Shop when they had specials on one type but 'ran out'. They sold me the similar type for the cheaper price.

They probably thought 'just give it to the old whinging geezer, it's only a coupleof dollars' and that's true, but it's the principle that matters to me.
