Bear’s New Van

Have not been here for awhile but life goes on. Moved from Queensland to Adelaide three years ago and settled in well. Close to our daughter who has given us two lovely grandkids to spoil and give back.

As the east coast is closed to us we decided to upgrade to a bigger van for more comfort and explore SA. Found a 21ft Goldstar only 2.5 years old and well looked after at the right price. The Gazal Was sold to the first looker who is enjoying and improving her.

will be heading to Darwin soon to see the wife family and a good test of the van. Cheers Robert

Nice looking van for you, Bear. Hope it goes well for you.
Just curious, the axles look well back, perhaps the angle in the photo. Do you know the loaded ball weight?

Hi Doug yes we are both in reasonable health, I will be heading in next Tuesday for another series of injections on the nerves up the spine. The last lot only lasted just over 12 months but the relief of not having 24/7 pain after 40 years was worth it. Will see if this lot is as helpful.

Done a trip around the lime stone coast a few weeks ago and had power problems again. After trying every thing I pulled the batteries out and had them tested and they were both stuffed. Replacing the AGMs with 2 x 150 ah lithium batteries and a Redarc 1250 bcdc unit. Hoping this will solve the problem.
once done we will do a trip over to the Eyre Peninsular for a couple of weeks. The wife is still working so need to travel the old internet track most times so she can log in.

If we have no problems we then intend to head into Victoria for a while. Cheers Robert
